Downcity Master Plan

In a series of design charrettes over a period of several years, Imai Keller Moore Architects has worked with the planning firm of Duany / Plater-Zyberk to formulate a new vision for the urban center of Providence. Specific projects of the city-wide design charrettes have included the master plan for the new Johnson & Wales University campus, an entertainment retail plan connecting the Providence Performing Arts Center with the Rhode Island Convention Center, a parking strategy plan, and a study looking at the housing potential of each building in the Downcity area as well as new construction.
